Workshops

We are giving full day workshops on huacaya and suri selection and fiber. They are designed to give alpaca breeders at whatever level the chance to class alpacas and their fiber. This is invaluable for new people who have had not had their hands on enough alpacas to know what represents value in a purchase and it also applies to existing breeders who need to up their experience. Jude is not only an internationally recognised alpaca judge, she is als a qualified Wool Classer so you'll be learning from someone who regulary judges the best alpacas in the US and Australia.

The workshops include lunch and plenty of time to have individual supervision from Jude and Al. We are keeping the number of participants to a small manageable number so everyone can get the benefits of this time. The workshop will include some power point presentation but mostly hands on evaluation.

The beauty of the workshops is that we can pitch them to the level of experience of the participants.

For a more complete alpaca educational experience you should attend our " Survive or Thrive " alpaca seminar which so far has been a roaring success.  If the workshop below times do not suit, we can arrange a midweek seminar by appointment. You will need a minimum of six participants and there will be an extra $100 charge for the group.
