This is the first time ever we have released for sale one of our Halona-Happy Fortune Accoyo cria. But we reserve a 51% share holding in him. Vatea David is the result of breeding our legendary herdsire Pucara Allegro to our top female Happy-Halona a full Accoyo girl who has produced champions with every progeny she has produced.In fact Vatea David's full brother Pucara The Duke is currently one of our working herdsires along with Vatea's half brother Accoyo Kahuna who is also a Happy-Halona progeny. Vatea's father Pucara Allegro has produced 37 cria that have won championships in the Aussie show ring.....16 of these have gone on to win Supreme Champion or best in show. Allegro's father ( Vatea's grand father ) Accoyo Cadete, has seen his cria win 24 championships with 18 of those winning Supreme Championship!
So what we have in Pucara Vatea is a very stongly credentialled show winning line and when you consider every brother of his has won show ribbons and then gone on to be a herdsire there should not be any concern about his ability to enhance anyone's breeding program. This is all about prepotence!
Vatea in essence is everything you want in a suri alpaca. He has outstanding presence, good bone and square well developed body symmetry. His fiber is exquisite. He is covered from head to toe in a bright highly lustrous soft handling fleece that is pencilled from his tail to his top knot. He is a calmy dispositioned boy but has already shown a lot of interest in fulfilling his destiny as a working male!
As we say again, we have never released for sale an alpaca of this calibre from this line but we will maintain a controlling interest.
