At Pucara International we are very excited about this new suri program. It brings together the very best of suri genetics and minds plus years of its practical application.

What this means is that in the one location we can offer everything suri. Color. Elite white. Full Peruvian. Full Accoyo. Super proven herdsires. Futurity Herdsires of the Year. Champions galore. More than 35 combined years of alpaca farming. All resulting in proven prepotent repeatable suri genetics that can compliment any suri breeding program.

The concept began when Jude and Al at Pucara International became co-owners of  Stonebrook Farm suris with Josh and Tonya Wuerfel who have dominated color classes in the past few years at the big shows. At the same time Al and Jude teamed up with Jack and Kelly Armstrong of PureSuri Breeding Company. They co-own an elite white herd that has produced Futurity and National Champions repeatedly. Al and Jude believe the Armstrongs contributed more quality to the national herd of suri genetics than any other suri breeder.

Pucara International also have a pretty handy suri herd that in the past years have dominated in the white classes at big shows like the Futurity and Nationals. Not to mention achieving championships in fawn and brown.Their herdsire Pucara Kahuna has won Futurity herdsire of the Year plus swept National progeny classes and Get of Sire classes at many big shows.
