Pucara Surfrider

Named after the Surfrider Foundation that is a group of surfers who monitor ocean environmental issues, Surfrider is like a periscope in the pasture. He's onto everything. He's aware, proud and ready to settle disputes although a pleasure to handle.

This is the only son of Pucara The Duke that we are releasing although we will retain breedings. The Duke is an important part of our breeding program sharing the same mother as Kahuna but by our top gun stud Pucara Allegro. Allegro has put 39 champions into the Aussie show ring of which 17 have won Best in Show. The essence is that Surfrider is also the son of a Pucara Kahuna daughter. That daughter's mother ( Surfriders grandmother ) is the maker of champions. This year Kirra, her 2006 daughter,won beige color champion at AWE.. Surfrider is stacked with great NEW genetics.

This pedigree is reflected in Surfrider's quality. He displays a gorgeous creamy greasy luster with possibly the best pencilling of all our show team. Since May 2007 he has grown a real independence of lock. It is a medium density very fine fleece that has beautiful handle.
