It is with Alan and Jude's relationship with Snowmass Alpacas that we can bring to you a stable of huacaya herdsires way in excess of what is normally available to the general alpaca enthuisiast. After selecting from the ranks of herdsires that were made available Alan and Jude have selected these six stud males.

It is well known the Snowmass program dominate the huacaya show ring in all colors. The lines these males were chosen from have been at the top of that show production. These males were chosen for their impeccable pedigree, their stature and symmetry of conformation, and especially their fiber quality. Witness the fiber statistics. The Snowmass herd fiber statistics are the best Alonso Burgoss from Groupo Inca in Peru has ever seen. He is the director amd manager of that firm and as a textile buyer for the largest processor of alpaca in the world those are significant words!

Along with those criteria the males were selected for constutional vigor, if they were mature, and also for their appearance, meaning their presence and looks. It is hard to sell animals at a higher price point if they don't have " the look".
