Sugarloaf Pearl
Have we mentioned we love
Peruvian K-2’s fiber and especially his ability to pass that
fiber quality on? You can see it in Pearl who also on the dams
side brings Accoyo Pachacuti the maker of National Champions like
East Winds Andino, into the equation. Soft soft fiber, in thick
handfuls of density.
Crimpy bright staples from tip to toe. She
won’t survive the first buyer! She stands so well and is
going to make her new owner a very proud alpaca farmer.
Pearl has been mated to Snowmass Millenium who we believe is one of the best herdsires in the U.S. His babies are knockouts. This one will not dissapoint. Her cria last year to MSA Hemingway'sTequila, Beachwood Creek jewel is proof of Pearl's pedigree.

Current breeding:
The 07 male cria was a good looking boy but appeared to me to lack fiber vitality...he was a really poor dooer so it was smart to change the breeding to Elite Reflection. We hope to get more follicullar density and staple alignment.
