Graciella is showing the potential to be a stud dam.

So what is a stud dam? It is a special female who has the ability to repeatedly produce progeny that excell in the traits you are breeding for!

If Graciealla continues to produce the quality of cria the way she has been, she’ll be a winner forever. When we assess an alpaca for sale we have a list of categories to evaluate, much the same way a judge might do in their mind when assessing a halter class. We forgot the list in her case and just wrote “ she has everything”!
It’s not only an indication of how good her dam, Naomi, is but it tells us a lot about her dad, Glacial Storm. He’s won shows, he's a National Champion two years running in the composite class, he comes from a mom who has won several championships at fleece shows and a dad who has put hundreds of ribbon winners in the show ring.

Graciella had a stunning high frequency crimp fleece with density and good staple length. It displays exceptional coverage and birghtness plus....just look at her fiber stats..they have not moved in maturity!

We are holding onto her 2008 male cria for breeding. He is stunning showing off a 17.7micron 3.50sd 20.0cv at 114 months of age with real density and character.
An added bonus is that the paternal mother is a dark fawn! Gracie therefore can be bred to color or white.
