Suri
SMA Wrangler
Al was cruising around the 2005 AOBA National Show at Salt Lake City with his good mate and partner in many of the Pucara suri females, Bruce Van Natta from Sur-Real Alpacas. The discussion was about what were they going to do as a follow on from using the superb East Coast colored suri herdsire Durango. Out of the blue Becca Black walks past with a stunning dark brown suri that was positively glistening with sheen ( no preperation ). This animal walked with the royalty of quality. Its conformation was perfect. It was headed for the show ring. Guess who the judge was? None other than Jude Anderson who gave this boy a second in a very strong class. BUT HE HAD BEEN SHORN. His regrowth was superb and this aroused our strong interest.
We especially love Durazno ( Accoyo Uribe ) being on the dam's side of Wrangler with a female that Al had seen before who had impressed him. NGG Miss Amanda is a high luster fawn girl out of an established foundation stud female in Peruvian Genevia again who Al knew from the famous Castle Hill herd of Nola Grahams. The father of Wrangler is none other than MacGyver.
With much thanks to Toni Cotton and Becca Black Wrangler is standing at stud at Pucara International from August through to October 2006.
