Huacaya Weanling
Marzipanache
This little girl is typical of the production quality from the herd of our good friends at Hummingherd. Curt and Nancy Gedney have been collecting elite lines for many years now and Marzipanache is a glowing recommendation to the level of quality they are now producing. Lets face it any alpaca with Caligula and Legacy in its background has prepotence to start with.
With a gorgeous disposition Marzipanachel displays all the fiber quality we love. High frequency crimp exhibiting tiny staple formation that reflects her density and its all topped off with a brilliant shine. She is well covered with the ideal hucaya head.
It should be of interest that her dam, Marzipan from Crescent Moon, was a reserve champion at the Futurity and also won the Fred Walker Award at the 2001 Nationals for best fleece.

As per all the whites in Ohio we used Elite Reflection but its not that simple. We use him because he has all the desirable fleece traits...finess at age, follicular density, staple length and desirable crimp definition.
